Amy’s Big Canberra Bike Ride will be held in Canberra on Sunday 6 March 2016.

There are four rides available for registrants to participate in:

  • Family 5 km
  • Friendly 30 km
  • Warrior 68 km
  • Dauntless 120 km

The start and finish for all four rides will be at Rond Terrace.

The Amy Gillett Foundation is the official charity of the 2016 Amy’s Big Canberra Bike Ride. Participants will be able to add a donation during the registration process, or create a fundraising page in support of the Amy Gillett Foundation and your participation in the event.

On 1 November the ACT Government commenced a trial of minimum overtaking distance legislation based on the Amy Gillett Foundation’s ‘a metre matters’ campaign. There is much work to be done to ensure that the trial becomes permanent law. Participant support by fundraising during the event will help the Amy Gillett Foundation undertake this work, and to further their efforts to create a safer environment for bike riders in the ACT and across Australia.
